(StraightShooterNews.com) – Attempting to portray a strong front in the face of a severe corruption case, Hunter Biden’s lawyer has claimed he is eager to address the irrefutable allegations brought forward by the House Oversight Committee Chairman, James Comer, who has issued a subpoena to Hunter Biden as well as to James Biden and Rob Walker, Hunter’s business associate.

Additionally, transcribed interviews have been requested from several family members and associates, including James Biden’s wife, Sara Biden; Hallie Biden, the widow of Joe Biden’s son, Beau, who was romantically involved with Hunter; Hallie’s older sister, Elizabeth Secundy; and Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen. The committee also sought a transcribed interview with Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski, who was involved in Sinohawk Holdings.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, responded to the subpoena by criticizing Comer for what he called a “partisan” probe. Lowell called the subpoena a “political stunt” aimed at diverting attention from what he described as baseless and discredited conspiracy theories regarding the Biden family. Lowell stated that Hunter is “eager to have the opportunity, in a public forum and at the right time, to discuss these matters with the Committee.”

Lowell also sent a letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson demanding that Comer, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith be stopped from continuing what he referred to as their “partisan” investigations into his client and Joe Biden and his family.

Notably, Comer, Jordan, and Smith are leading the House impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden. Johnson has expressed support for the inquiry, stating that the president has engaged in a “cover-up” and continues to deceive the American people about his knowledge of or involvement in his son’s business dealings.

The subpoenaed and voluntary testimony is expected to contribute to the broader impeachment inquiry as Republicans seek to ascertain whether Joe Biden abused his office or committed any high crimes or misdemeanors. In a previous development, Comer had subpoenaed personal and business bank records of both Hunter Biden and James Biden in September, leading to new lines of questioning regarding whether Joe Biden was aware of or involved in his family’s business dealings.
