VIDEO: Rodeo Bull Rampages Through Spectators

(StraightShooterNews.com) – A rodeo bull named Party Bus wreaked havoc at the 84th Sisters Rodeo in Oregon when it escaped the arena and ran wild among spectators, injuring three people.

Watch the videos below.

The bull leaped from the arena and then encountered a woman in a red shirt. The incident was caught in chaotic video footage and shows the bull charging the woman.

It lifted her off the ground twice with its horns before she fell under its feet as it continued its rampage, smashing through a table and darting into the parking lot.

However, the bull’s bid for freedom was brief, as rodeo staff captured it near the livestock pens shortly afterward, according to the Sisters Rodeo Association.

The association reported that three spectators were hurt directly due to the bull’s breakout. Two were taken to a hospital but were released the next day.

Additionally, a deputy sustained minor injuries during the incident, although it was not confirmed if these were caused by Party Bus.

The incident occurred during the rodeo’s final event, an attraction that draws top-tier cowboys and large crowds.

Another video captured Party Bus making several laps around the arena and dodging horseback riders, while the audience sang Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.”

The bull then unexpectedly jumped over a 7-foot fence and caused spectators to scatter.

Following the chaos, Party Bus was removed from the arena. Leslie Lange, who supplies livestock for the rodeo including Party Bus, expressed a commitment to preventing future incidents.

“We obviously can’t replicate that scenario,” Lange said to KTVZ. “But we’re going to take him home, buck him again, do some training with him and try to never put him in that situation again.”

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association reflected on the incident, saying that “while rodeo is a highly entertaining sport, on very rare occasions, it can also pose some risk.”

“PRCA sends our thoughts and well wishes to those who were injured or otherwise impacted by this frightening and very rare incident,” the association added.
