VIDEO: CNN Freaks Out

(StraightShooterNews.com) – In the wake of the first presidential debate, leftwing media outlet CNN’s analysts freaked out and expressed serious doubts about Joe Biden’s future as the Democratic nominee.

CNN anchor John King began the network’s post-debate coverage by highlighting concerns about Biden’s age and discussing how Democrats reacted to his challenging debate night.

“This was a game-changing debate in the sense that right now as we speak there is a deep, a wide, and a very aggressive panic in the Democratic Party. It started minutes into the debate and it continues right now,” King said.

Moreover, the TV anchor mentioned discussions about whether prominent Democrats should publicly voice their worries about Biden’s performance.

He also noted that although Biden improved later in the debate, it might not have been enough to sway public opinion. Even in his closing statement, the 81-year-old Democrat showed signs of his age and potential mental sharpness issues.

The debate, held in Atlanta and aired on CNN for an hour and a half on Thursday night, was moderated by Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, who managed Trump and Biden’s conduct with a set of rules that mostly kept them in check.

In addition, CNN analyst Van Jones added his perspective, predicting calls for Biden to withdraw from the race after the debate.

“I love that guy, as a good man, he loves his country, he’s doing the best that he can, but he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence of the country and of the base, and he failed to do that,” Jones remarked on Biden.

In turn, Jones described Biden’s performance as “painful” for many supporters. Throughout the debate, Biden seemed slow and struggled with his words, while Trump appeared more composed than usual.

Later, Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on CNN and tried to positively interpret Biden’s debate performance during an interview with Anderson Cooper.

“[Biden] was a very different person on the stage four years ago when you debated him. You must…I mean that’s certainly true, is it not?” Cooper asked Harris.

“Anderson, the focus needs to be on the president’s actions,” Harris responded, as Cooper interjected. Harris referred to the January 6th Capitol riot as Cooper pressed her on Biden’s debate performance, attempting to shift the conversation to Biden’s record rather than his debate showing.
