In a bold move to safeguard American jobs, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently arrested 84 illegal aliens during a raid in a racetrack.
See the tweet below this post.
This raid marks a significant victory in the ongoing battle against illegal employment networks that steal American jobs and harbor criminals who pose risks to communities.
ICE coordinated with the FBI and U.S. Border Patrol to execute the operation at Delta Downs Racetrack, Hotel and Casino in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
The early morning raid specifically targeted unauthorized workers employed at the racetrack’s stables, where officials had identified a significant number of individuals working illegally in the United States.
According to ICE officials, the operation was designed to enforce immigration laws while disrupting criminal networks that exploit illegal labor.
Among those arrested were several individuals with serious criminal backgrounds. At least two of the detained individuals had prior criminal records that highlight the public safety concerns associated with lax immigration enforcement.
A 36-year-old Mexican national previously charged with DUI, cocaine possession, and illegal reentry was among those apprehended.
Even more alarming, agents arrested a 40-year-old Mexican national with prior arrests for aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon and sexual battery.
Steven Stavinoha, who led the operation, explained the critical nature of these enforcement actions:
“These enforcement operations aim to disrupt illegal employment networks that threaten the integrity of our labor systems, put American jobs at risk and create pathways for exploitation within critical sectors of our economy.”
The enforcement action demonstrates that the government is taking serious steps to protect American workers and uphold the rule of law despite ongoing resistance from left-wing activists and open-borders advocates.

Boyd Gaming Corporation, which owns Delta Downs, quickly distanced itself from the illegal workers.
“Our Company complies fully with federal labor laws, and to our knowledge, no Delta Downs team members were involved in this matter,” said company spokesman David Strow in a statement following the arrests.
The raid focused on workers in the stable area, which is leased to independent horse trainers responsible for their hiring practices and compliance with employment laws.
The operation is part of a broader initiative by the Trump administration to ramp up immigration enforcement nationwide.
Stephen Miller, a key immigration advisor, has reportedly pushed for increasing daily ICE arrests from 650 to 3,000, signaling a renewed commitment to enforcing immigration laws that were largely ignored under previous administrations.
Moreover, ICE has already conducted other large-scale raids in Louisiana, including operations at a flood-reduction project and several massage parlors suspected of employing illegal workers.
Predictably, the operation has drawn criticism from immigration activists who continue to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens and legal residents.
Rachel Taber from Unión Migrante complained that “our economy runs on immigrants,” failing to distinguish between legal immigrants who follow the laws and illegal aliens who disregard them.
Meanwhile, the National Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association expressed concerns about disruptions to their operations while indicating a willingness to cooperate with ICE for more orderly enforcement in the future.
The successful operation demonstrates that enforcement works when federal agencies are allowed to do their jobs.
Despite a recent directive to pause arrests at certain locations due to economic concerns, ICE officials determined that the criminal elements and scale of illegal employment at Delta Downs warranted immediate action.
With dangerous criminals removed from American communities and jobs potentially opening for legal workers, the raid represents a victory for law and order.
