The President’s decision comes as a response to what he describes as an unprecedented level of political bias within the DOJ over the past four years.

Trump has long criticized the department for being “weaponized” against him, citing the federal charges brought during his absence from office as evidence of this partisan agenda.

“Over the past four years, the Department of Justice has been politicized like never before,” he stated.

He emphasized the importance of restoring faith in the justice system, declaring, “We must ‘clean house’ IMMEDIATELY, and restore confidence. America’s Golden Age must have a fair Justice System – THAT BEGINS TODAY!”

This sweeping action goes beyond the customary practice of requesting resignations from U.S. Attorneys appointed by previous administrations.

At least 15 career officials, including one involved in the controversial FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, have been moved to less influential roles.

Likewise, the DOJ has also removed officials connected to special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecutions of Trump.

These cases, which many conservatives viewed as politically motivated witch hunts, were ultimately dismissed by federal judges, vindicating Trump’s claims of innocence and exposing the weakness of the charges against him.

Trump has nominated a slate of respected legal professionals known for their commitment to fairness and the rule of law to lead the reformed DOJ.

Among the nominees are Judge Jason Reding, Judge Joseph Nocella Jr., Jay Clayton, and Edward Martin, individuals who share Trump’s vision for an impartial and effective justice system.
