Trump Gets Good News From ‘Blue Wall’ States

(StraightShooterNews.com) – A recent Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll reveals that former President Donald Trump is currently leading Joе Biden by 48% to 44% across seven pivotal swing states.

The recently released poll underscores the tight race in the “Blue Wall” states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, wherе the gap between Biden and Trump is no more than two percentage points.

Biden has shown improvement in the competitive Sun Belt states compared to last month’s figures.

He has reduced Trump’s lead in North Carolina to 7 percentage points, in Arizona to 5 points and in Georgia to 3 points. In Nevada, the two candidates are now tied.

Additional insights from the survey include:

  • With other presidential candidates considered, Trump would receivе 44% of the vote, Biden 40%, independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 7% and no other candidate more than 1%.
  • Only 42% of those surveyed view Biden favorably, while 41% have a very unfavorablе view of him.
  • Trump is viewed slightly more favorably at 45%, although 44% view him very unfavorably.
  • Republicans in Congress are viewed more favorably than Democrats, with approval ratings of 48% and 45% respectively.
  • When asked about the most important issues for the November presidential election, 35% of participants cited the economy as their top concern. This was followed by immigration at 14% and democracy at 10%.
  • Other significant issues included abortion at 9%, Senior Services such as Social Security and Medicare at 7% and healthcare at 4%. No other issue was named by more than 3% of respondents.

The poll surveyed 4,962 registered voters online across Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin from early to mid-May.

The results from these states were weighted to reflect a target sample of swing-state voters, considering factors such as gender, age, race/ethnicity, marital status, home ownership, the 2020 presidential vote and state.

The margin of error for the aggregated data across these states is plus or minus 1 percentage point.
