Trump Gets Bad News

Donald Trump

( – In an unfortunate turn of events following the witch hunt seeking to take money from his pockets, former President Donald Trump lost his efforts to delay a ruling that forces him to pay $355 million and restricts him from doing his activities within the state for three years.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron said that Donald Trump’s legal team had not provided a good reason for why they should delay the court ruling. Engoron claimed, “You have failed to explain, much less justify, any basis for a stay. I am confident that the Appellate Division will protect your appellate rights.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who took the case against the former president, also proposed a judgment order following Engoron’s verdict.

Nonetheless, Trump attorney Clifford Robert accused James of not following proper standard legal procedures and making errors in the proposed judgment.

Robert stated that Trump’s defense should have the opportunity to propose an alternate judgment to prove his innocence but Engoron proceeded to approve the decision despite these objections.

The court’s clerk is expected to sign off the ruling and Donald Trump his co-defendants and his sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr. will have a 30-day window to file an appeal.

In response the 2024 GOP presidential frontrunner has repeatedly insisted that he did not do anything wrong and that he is innocent. Additionally, he stated that the case is nothing but a politically motivated witch hunt to undermine his actions.

Unfortunately, to make the appeal the former president will have to turn over the $355 million alongside a 9% interest rate as collateral.

Attempting to damage Trump’s reputation and his presidential campaign, Attorney General James stated harshly that if Trump fails to pay the required sum, she is more than ready to go after his assets, which include some of his most valued properties in New York City, to settle the debt.
