TRAGEDY: Miss Teen Rodeo Killed

(StraightShooterNews.com) – In a tragedy that left shaken the heartland to its core, Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2024 Emma C. Brungardt was killed in a car accident.

The accident occurred on October 4th on County Road 21 in rural Thomas County, Kansas.

19-year-old Emma was traveling with five of her Colby Community College Rodeo Team members when their 2007 Ford F-250 struck a tree row at a Y intersection.

The collision proved fatal for Emma, while her teammates sustained injuries and were rushed to Citizens Medical Center in Colby.

The driver of the vehicle was an 18-year-old man from Flagler, Colorado. Other passengers included young women from Larned, Newton, and Galva, as well as another young man from Council Grove.

This tragic incident has undoubtedly left a deep impact on these tight-knit communities, showcasing the strong bond of the rural areas and the shared pain when they lose one of their own.
