( – To the benefit of conservative Americans, the Democrat Party is facing its own worst nightmare during an election year, as its 81-year-old presidential candidate might soon encounter significant pressure from within to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.

According to a recent report, around 25 House Democrats are gearing up to ask Joe Biden to end his re-election efforts following what many viewed as a lackluster debate performance against former President Donald Trump.

Centrist Democrats from competitive districts are particularly concerned, as they are reportedly considering drafting a letter to Biden.

These members are more vulnerable to electoral losses and have been flooded with questions from their constituents about Biden’s diminishing capabilities after their return home for the Fourth of July recess.

“It looks like the dam has broken,” a top House Democratic aide commented, signaling a growing discontent within the party.

This report follows public comments from Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), who was the first from the House Democrats to openly ask Biden to step down after the debate, where Biden struggled significantly.

Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) also voiced doubts about Biden’s ability to secure a victory against Trump in the upcoming election.

Adding to the chorus, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA) told KATU that she believes Biden will lose to Trump.

She noted, “The truth I think, is that Biden is going to lose to Trump. I know that’s difficult, but I think the damage has been done by that debate.”

Amid these developments, Biden is set to discuss his 2024 strategy and debate performance with Democratic state governors.

Additionally, the White House has indicated that meetings between Biden and congressional leaders are being arranged.
