(StraightShooterNews.com) – In the aftermath of a bombshell Congressional report, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump affirmed that “Comrade Kamala knew everything” about the Biden family’s business dealings.
As the Democratic National Convention kicked off, Trump and his running mate, Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio, started their counterattack in key battleground states.
Trump hosted a rally at Precision Components Group in York, Pennsylvania, focusing his speech on economic and energy issues.
The Trump campaign’s theme for each day of the week is set to be different, with Monday being dubbed “Make America Wealthy Again.”
During his speech, Trump criticized the current administration, stating, “While Biden and Harris have been impoverishing our country, they have been getting rich at your expense.”
He also cited a Fox News report by Brooke Singman that revealed that Congressional committees accused Joe Biden of “impeachable conduct” and “defraud[ing] the United States to enrich his family.”
Trump also took a jab at Kamala Harris during his remarks. “Remember, Comrade Kamala, she knew everything, and the senators knew what was going on,” he declared.
Earlier that day, Vance visited Philadelphia, making a stop at Pat’s King of Steaks, where he engaged with locals over cheesesteaks and signed autographs.
Later, Trump sat down for an interview with CBS News following his remarks in York. Meanwhile, Harris has refused to make a formal press appearance since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election a month ago.
Dubbed “Make America Safe Again,” Trump is scheduled to speak in Detroit, Michigan, on Tuesday while Vance will be in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The pair will be in Ashboro, North Carolina, on Wednesday to promote their “Make America Strong Again” agenda.
Trump and Vance will continue their thematic campaign on Thursday with Trump in Montezuma Pass, Arizona, and Vance in Valdosta, Georgia, for the “Make America Secure Again” day.
The week concludes with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” event on Friday in Glendale, Arizona.
Current polling data from RealClearPolitics shows Harris slightly leading Trump in Wisconsin by 1% and in Michigan by 2%.
Meanwhile Trump holds marginal leads in Pennsylvania and Arizona by 0.2%, and more notable leads in Georgia by 1%, in Arizona again by 1.2% and in Nevada by 1.3%.
