Scott Adams, the 67-year-old creator of the beloved “Dilbert” comic strip and vocal conservative voice, announced he has Stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones.
See the tweet below.
The cancer-stricken cartoonist expects to live only until summer but continues speaking the truth despite mainstream media’s attempts to silence him.
During his “Coffee with Scott Adams” web show, Adams bravely revealed his diagnosis while discussing Biden’s similar cancer condition.
“I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has. I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones,” Adams told his audience.
The conservative cartoonist, known for his satirical take on corporate America since launching “Dilbert” in 1989, did not seek sympathy but instead demonstrated remarkable courage by addressing his mortality directly and honestly.
In contrast to Biden’s condition, which medical experts suggest might respond to treatment due to its hormone sensitivity, Adams believes his prognosis is more dire.
“I’ve had it longer than he’s had it. Well, longer than he’s admitted having it. So my life expectancy is maybe this summer,” Adams explained.
The 67-year-old cartoonist now requires a walker and experiences near-constant pain, describing his condition as “already intolerable” with no “good days” remaining.
In true American fashion, Adams has pursued alternative treatments that mainstream medicine often dismisses, including anti-parasitic medications like ivermectin and fenbendazole.
These are the same treatments many MAGA supporters advocated for during COVID-19 that were ridiculed by the establishment.

Unfortunately, these treatments have not halted his cancer’s progression. Adams has decided to utilize California’s aid-in-dying laws after settling his affairs, maintaining control over his final days rather than submitting to prolonged suffering.
Moreover, he has been a target of cancel culture since early 2023, when major newspapers dropped his comic strip after he discussed a Rasmussen poll regarding race relations in America.
The establishment media twisted his commentary about the poll data into accusations of racism, costing him significant income and mainstream platform access.
Despite this persecution, Adams launched “Dilbert Reborn” and continued expressing his viewpoints on important social and political issues through his podcast and social media.
Unlike the establishment media’s sympathetic coverage of former President Joe Biden’s health challenges, Adams has faced relentless persecution for his outspoken views while battling this terminal condition.
This glaring double standard highlights how conservative voices continue to be marginalized even in the face of terminal illness.
Adams anticipates further attacks, noting, “People are going to say it’s because I got the COVID shot… They’re going to say it’s because I lived a bad life.”
Yet, he refuses to be silenced or intimidated by these predictable smears.
Prostate cancer remains one of the most common cancers among American men, with survival rates dramatically decreasing once it metastasizes.
Despite the challenges, Adams’s unwavering perspective remains a thoughtful mix of candor, controversy, and sometimes, compassion.
