NOW: First Project Homecoming Flight of 64 Illegals

The Trump administration has officially launched its first charter flight, sending 64 illegal aliens back to their home countries under the new “Project Homecoming” initiative.

See the tweet below.

Recently, 64 illegal aliens voluntarily self-deported to Honduras and Colombia, each receiving a $1,000 stipend courtesy of the administration.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that the inaugural flight departed from Houston, Texas, transporting 38 illegals to Honduras and 26 to Colombia.

This represents the first tangible success of President Trump’s innovative approach to removing illegal aliens without the lengthy and costly detention and deportation process that has bogged down immigration enforcement for years.

The program leverages technology through the CBP Home app, which allows illegals to register for voluntary departure.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem made it clear this program combines compassion with consequences.

Those who take advantage of the voluntary program receive financial support and potential future legal entry, while those who refuse face severe penalties.

The CBP Home app is a brilliantly repurposed version of the Biden administration’s failed CBP One app, which was used to schedule asylum hearings rather than facilitate departures.

This transformation symbolizes the stark difference between the Biden administration’s open-border policies and Trump’s commitment to restoring order.

The app now serves its intended purpose – helping those who entered illegally to leave in an orderly fashion, rather than encouraging more illegal immigration.

Upon arrival in their home countries, the returning migrants received additional benefits.

In Honduras, returnees were welcomed by their government with an extra $100 and food vouchers through the country’s “Hermano, Hermana, Vuelve a Casa” (Brother, Sister, Come Home) program.

Colombian participants received social services through their government’s Family Welfare Institute.

Predictably, liberal immigration attorneys are already attempting to undermine this successful program.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has warned illegal aliens against accepting the generous offer without first paying for their expensive legal services, claiming there might be future entry bans.

The success of this first flight demonstrates that President Trump’s approach to immigration enforcement is both effective and humane.

By offering incentives for self-deportation while maintaining firm consequences for those who refuse to comply with the immigration laws, the administration is finally addressing the border crisis with practical solutions.

As more flights are scheduled in the coming weeks, Project Homecoming stands as a testament to President Trump’s commitment to putting America first while offering a fair deal to those willing to respect the laws and borders.
