NEW: Trump Allies Indicted (Video)

( – Citing attempts to interfere in the 2020 presidential election results, an Arizona grand jury has indicted 18 people linked to former President Donald Trump.

Watch the video below.

Though seven other names remain undisclosed, 11 Republicans are among the indicted including Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff; Rudy Giuliani, a former attorney for Trump; and Mike Roman, a campaign strategist.

As described in the indictment, these individuals reportedly engaged in efforts to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in Arizona, and Trump was referred to as “Unidentified Coconspirator 1.”

The 58-page document claims there was a conspiracy to obstruct the lawful presidential power transfer by illegitimately assigning Arizona’s electoral votes to Trump.

Also implicated and accused of supporting the scheme are lawyers Jenna Ellis, John Eastman and Christina Bobb, and campaign advisor Boris Epshteyn.

The charges also extend to Republicans who falsely declared Trump the election winner on December 14, 2020.

This group includes former Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward, state Senators Jake Hoffman and Anthony Kern, and Tyler Bowyer, a key figure in the conservative organization Turning Point USA.

Kenneth Chesebro, another attorney involved, is noted in the indictment as “Unindicted Coconspirator 4.”

Democratic Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes leas the investigation and said she was committed to protecting American democracy.

“I will not allow American democracy to be undermined. It’s too important,” Mayes stated. “The investigators and attorneys assigned to this case took the necessary time to thoroughly piece together the details of the events that began nearly four years ago.”

“They follow the facts where they lead, and I’m very proud of the work they’ve done to date,” she added.

This case in Arizona marks one among several nationwide legal actions targeting Trump and his associates’ alleged efforts to contest the 2020 election outcomes.

Trump faces a federal indictment with virtually the same charges. Similar cases are going on in Georgia, where Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has charged him and others in a related scheme.

John Eastman’s lawyer, Charles Burnham, has raised concerns over what he described as “partisan lawfare” while stating his client is innocent of all charges and is ready to contest the charges.
