(StraightShooterNews.com) – In response to criticisms aimed at GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance lashed out at Kamala Harris and told her she “can go to hell.”

Trump had attended a ceremony to honor 13 U.S. servicemembers who lost their lives during Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The controversy began after an incident at Arlington National Cemetery. Reports suggest that Trump’s campaign team clashed with cemetery staff who objected to them filming at the gravesites.

In response to the criticism, a spokesperson for Harris described the situation as “pretty sad” and “not surprising” during a CNN interview.

Vance defended Trump at a campaign stop in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he expressed his frustration with the Democrat presidential nominee’s team using the incident to slam Trump.

Vance accused Harris of neglecting her duties during the withdrawal, pointing out that no one has been held accountable for the deaths that happened.

“The other thing that our veterans care more about is that three years ago, 13 brave, innocent Americans died. And they died because Kamala Harris refused to do her job and there hasn’t been a single investigation or a single firing,” Vance argued.

“Kamala Harris is disgraceful. We want to talk about a story out of those 13 brave, innocent Americans who lost their lives.” Vance said.

“And she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up? She can go to hell,” he added.

He also blasted the media’s portrayal of the altercation at the cemetery and dismissed it as a fabrication.

He emphasized that the Gold Star families present actually wanted Trump at the ceremony and rejected the notion that the incident was disrespectful to the fallen servicemembers.

Despite this, Trump’s campaign insisted that the staff member who tried to stop the filming was having a mental health episode, denying any physical altercation.

This version was supported by a Gold Star family member who stated that the staff was not truthful about the events.

Back at the rally in Erie, attendees praised Vance’s military background, seeing it as a strength for the Republican ticket.

His connection with the military community was highlighted by supporters who see him as a valuable addition to the political landscape.
