Judge DROPS the HAMMER – No Mercy!

Judge gavel, scales of justice, and law books.

(StraightShooterNews.com) – In a decisive blow to the liberal agenda’s attempt to coddle criminals, a Michigan judge had no mercy by rejecting a school shooter’s audacious request to withdraw his guilty plea.

Judge Kwame Rowe delivered a resounding victory for justice by denying Ethan Crumbley’s petition to rescind his guilty plea to charges including terrorism and first-degree murder.

Crumbley, now 18, was responsible for the tragic Oxford High School shooting in 2021 that claimed four young lives and left a community shattered.

The judge’s decision upholds the life sentence without parole, ensuring this dangerous individual remains behind bars where he belongs.

Crumbley’s appellate lawyers attempted to exploit the system by arguing that his mental health influenced his decision to plead guilty at age 16.

However, Judge Rowe saw through this thinly veiled attempt to escape accountability, determining that Crumbley’s plea was made “knowingly, voluntarily, and accurately.”

Karen McDonald led the prosecution and emphasized the significance of this decision, which allowed the focus to remain where it should be—on the victims and their families and on preventing future tragedies.

“These are the right decisions under the law, and they allow us to continue doing the most important things — focusing on the victims and their families, and on preventing future shootings,” McDonald stated.

The case also highlights the critical role of parental responsibility in preventing such tragedies. Crumbley’s parents, James and Jennifer Crumbley, are currently serving 10-year prison terms for involuntary manslaughter.

They were the first U.S. parents convicted in a school shooting committed by their child, accused of making a gun accessible and ignoring their son’s mental health issues.

Furthermore, the Oxford High School shooting on November 30, 2021, resulted in the tragic deaths of Justin Schilling, Hana St. Juliana, Madisyn Baldwin, and Tate Myre.

Crumbley faced 24 counts, including terrorism causing death, premeditated murder, assault with intent to murder, and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Judge Rowe’s decision to deny both the motion to withdraw the guilty plea and the motion for resentencing sends a powerful message that the justice system will not be manipulated.

The court found the sentence “constitutional and proportionate” to the offense, reinforcing the idea that severe crimes demand severe punishments.
