Fauci/COVID Bombshell News

(StraightShooterNews.com) – In the aftermath of the huge federal overreach mess that the pandemic was, House Republicans issued a subpoena to Dr. David Morens, a senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci, over Morens’ use of his personal email for discussions about the origins of COVID-19.

The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic took this step after emails disclosed last week validated whistleblower claims that Morens used his private Gmail for COVID-19-related communications.

Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup detailed the allegations against Morens by emphasizing the potential violation of laws and the need for accountability.

“Dr. David Morens purposefully evaded FOIA laws to give his ‘best-friend’ EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak non-public, internal information that had the potential to undermine the operations of the United States government,” Wenstrup stated.

In response, Morens has agreed to a future public testimony. In a private session earlier this year, he challenged claims that he deleted any COVID-19-related records that should have been kept under federal regulations.

By using his personal email, Morens attempted to evade public disclosure through the Freedom of Information Act, which came under particular scrutiny.

“I try to always communicate on gmail because my NIH email is FOIA’d constantly,” Morens noted in a September 2021 email.

Responding to whistleblower allegations, EcoHealth Alliance made public emails that confirmed conversations between Morens and Daszak.

These discussions touched upon internal matters at the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the decision to use Morens’ personal email for communication.

EcoHealth defended the email exchanges as legitimate interactions with NIH representatives regarding the efforts to restore a grant that was suddenly canceled and then conditionally suspended.

The spotlight turned to EcoHealth Alliance’s bat-coronavirus research, especially after it began attracting attention early in the Covid pandemic.

An email from Daszak proposed shifting all communication to Gmail, mentioning the vast collection of samples in Wuhan, the initial COVID-19Oh, my bad hotspot.

Daszak also said he was frustrated with former President Donald Trump, accusing him of encouraging attacks against EcoHealth Alliance.

“Tony is now fully aware I think and is I am told involved in some sort of damage control,” Morens reassured Daszak in their exchange.

Daszak is set to testify publicly next month where he will address questions regarding his organization’s research funded by taxpayer money in Wuhan.
