Biden Humiliated

(StraightShooterNews.com) – Joe Biden was humiliated in public when a large number of attendees stood and left as he approached the podium just after Kamala Harris finished speaking at a recent event.

This act underlined the lack of excitement for Biden among some Democrats following Harris’ rapid rise as the Democrat presidential nominee and Biden’s recent withdrawal from the race.

This departure occurred amid criticism of Biden, who had seen small crowds at his rallies this year.

At the same event, when Biden and Harris entered an overflow area, protesters angrily accused Biden of contributing to “genocide” in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Harris has been shifting her stances on several issues since her 2020 presidential run.

She now aligns herself with Biden’s policies on prescription drugs despite setting herself apart on other fronts.

Held at Prince George’s Community College, the event attracted about 2,300 people who braved long lines and hot weather.

It was meant to highlight a new initiative on prescription drug pricing under Medicare Part D, promising significant cost reductions by 2026 for drugs like the diabetes treatment Januvia and the arthritis medication Enbrel.

Contrastingly, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is promoting a plan to help seniors by removing taxes on Social Security.

The event was anticipated to showcase Harris as the potential first female and second non-white president of the U.S.

Biden endorsed Harris after deciding not to seek re-election, prompted by concerns about his mental sharpness following a poorly received debate performance against Trump.

However, Biden seemed to repeat an earlier debate gaffe, changing the original “We finally beat Medicare” to “We finally beat Big Pharma” in his speech.

Despite calling for softer political rhetoric after an assassination attempt on Trump, Biden urged, ”Let me tell you what our Project 2025 is: Beat the hell out of them.”

Earlier in the day, Biden addressed rumors about Harris distancing herself in policy, particularly on economic issues, telling Fox News’ Peter Doocy that she would not.

Harris is set to discuss inflation and propose a federal ban on price gouging, which, according to a Federal Reserve study, is not considered a primary cause of inflation.

Biden has blamed some economic issues on price gouging, but polls suggest his excuses have not resonated well with the public.

In turn, critics point to his spending policies and other governmental actions as causes.
