Biden DISREGARDED Warnings – New Report!

Joe Biden

(StraightShooterNews.com) – A bombshell report has finally shed light on the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan as Joe Biden’s determination to withdraw from the country led him to disregard critical warnings.

According to a scathing report from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the 2-year-long investigation examined America’s chaotic and deadly exit from Afghanistan.

It pointed to Biden’s frequent dismissal of expert military advice by prioritizing his own political and personal legacies over national security.

The nearly 350-page report also criticized Biden for his longstanding mistrust of military experts.

This trait has been evident throughout his political career, including his time as a Delaware U.S. senator, vice president and president.

The report accused his administration of deceiving the American public to garner support for ending the two-decade-long conflict in Afghanistan.

Under former President Donald Trump, the U.S. had negotiated the Doha Agreement with the Afghan government and the Taliban, outlining conditions for the U.S. withdrawal.

These conditions included the Taliban severing ties with al Qaeda, reducing violence and engaging in talks with the Afghan government.

However, the report accuses Biden of largely ignoring these stipulations and pushing forward with the withdrawal plans.

Biden later blamed his actions on the alleged constraints imposed by this very agreement.

On February 4, 2021, then-State Department spokesman Ned Price announced a review of the Taliban’s compliance with the Doha Agreement to determine whether the U.S. should withdraw.

However, Price stated during his committee testimony that the Taliban’s adherence was “immaterial” to the Biden-Harris administration’s decision to withdraw.

The report further noted that the administration omitted crucial details in press releases.

For instance, the fact that the Taliban did not comply with the Doha Agreement, the persistent threat of terrorism, the Afghan government and military’s capabilities and NATO allies’ opposition regarding the U.S. withdrawal plan.

Although several military officials advised against a complete withdrawal and calls from the international community and Afghan figures for more preparation time, Biden proceeded with the pullout.

The administration also failed to prepare adequately for the noncombatant evacuation operation.

The evacuation was not ordered until the day after Kabul fell to the Taliban on August 16, 2021 and just weeks before the final U.S. troop departure.
