ALERT: Illegals Linked to Terrorism

Red alert light against black background, text ALERT.

(StraightShooterNews.com) – After almost four years of failed open-border policies, the Department of Homeland Security’s 2025 Homeland Threat Assessment is finally painting a grim picture of America’s border security crisis.

With terrorists and criminals exploiting our borders, the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to secure our nation has reached catastrophic levels.

The DHS report confirms what conservatives have long warned: our open borders are a magnet for terrorists seeking to harm America.

“Over the next year, we expect some individuals with terrorism ties and some criminal actors will continue their efforts to exploit migration flows and the complex border security environment to enter the United States,” the department’s 2025 Homeland Threat Assessment warned.

In fiscal year 2024 alone, a staggering 422 individuals on the federal Terrorist Screening Data Set were caught trying to enter the U.S. through our northern and southern borders.

This number only reflects those who were arrested, raising the question of how many more might have slipped through undetected.

The situation at our northern border is equally alarming. Migrant encounters at the U.S.-Canada border have skyrocketed.

Over 181,000 encounters were registered in fiscal year 2024 up to August, surpassing the total for all of fiscal year 2023.

This surge clearly confirms that America’s northern frontier is dangerously exposed to terrorist infiltration.

Even more troubling is the revelation that illegal aliens are being allowed into the U.S. without proper identification.

A damaging DHS Inspector General report found that neither Customs and Border Protection nor Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted thorough risk assessments for these unidentified individuals.

This reckless policy not only compromises national security but also puts American lives at risk.

The threat extends beyond our borders. Foreign terror groups like ISIS and al Qaeda continue to plot attacks on American soil while exploiting conflicts in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Iran remains a primary sponsor of terrorism, actively advancing plots against individuals in the U.S., including current and former officials.

Adding to this perfect storm of threats, China and Russia are weaponizing artificial intelligence to create deceptive content targeting American audiences.

While the Biden administration pays lip service to border security with half-hearted measures like Presidential Proclamation 10773, these actions fall short.

The proclamation’s exceptions and loopholes render it largely ineffective in preventing a wave of illegal immigration and potential terrorist infiltration.
